Last Thursday Botchie had his teeth cleaned at the vet. For those of you unfamiliar with the process, this is not like a quick teeth cleaning at the dentist. Poor Botch was at the vet all day, under sedation for the procedure and ended up having 3 teeth pulled. He was totally out of it when we picked him up and was so mellow all evening. By Friday he was finally eating again and getting back to his normal self. While it was sad to see him like that, Justin & I did jokingly discuss how nice it would be to sometimes inject him with some of that sedative to calm him down!
Will had to come home from school early on Friday due to a cough. Neither of the kids slept well Friday night and Will had a cough and runny nose Saturday. He did fine playing while Grandma was there Saturday morning, but went downhill fast after that. He had a fever most of the day and was generally just not feeling very well. Thankfully, he slept better Saturday and has not had a fever since. This picture is from Sunday when he was feeling a little better. He's feeding bunny (who now gets to sit in the high chair and eat Eleanor's food).
We're crossing our fingers that this will be the end of our illness stretch for a while!
Poor Botchie and Will! I'm glad both are feeling better, especially that's Will's fever only lasted one day! That's lucky. So cute that he feeds his bunny.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Lily just got her teeth cleaned on Monday, isn't that a coincidence? Fortunately (or unfortunately...) we didn't notice one bit of difference with her hyperness. Oh well! Yea for clean teeth and breath!
