Elle at 18 months

Eleanor had her 18 month check up on Tuesday. She is happy and healthy as ever. She did a much better job at the doctor this time, still got antsy while we waited, but wasn't screaming the whole time.
Here's are her stats:
24 lbs. 12.7 oz. (55%)
31.25 in. tall (36%)
19.2 in. head circ. (94%)
She is very mobile - walking, climbing, running, etc. Says many words and is putting some together now ("here go" for "here you go" when she hands us something). She has 11 teeth - working on that last molar. She would much prefer to snack than eat full meals. She is not a huge meat eater (except on pizza). She enjoys every kind of fruit I've tried, crackers, many vegetables, tortillas, chicken, yogurt, and virtually any other carb she can get her hands on. She waves hi and bye, blows kisses, signs more, please, thank you, and drink very regularly. She is very interested in babies - both real and in books or magazines. She enjoys "reading" her books, especially interactive ones she can touch or lift flaps on. She's working on animal noises and body parts and doing pretty well. She's a great sleeper most of the time and has maintained her fairly laid back attitude. What a fun and loveable little girl!

15 months

I'm a little late posting this, but since Will is home sick today and is now taking a nap, I have a little time. Eleanor turned 15 months on June 25. Here are the stats:

23 lbs 3 oz (54%)
30 in. tall (36%) - I still don't know how we got short kids!
big head, as usual
7 teeth
taking steps here and there, but not fully walking
loves to climb!
says lots of words - mama, dada, cracker (ca cah), socks, shoes, uh-oh, bye-bye, nose, bar (Nutrigrain bar), ball, no-no, dog, and roars like a lion when she sees Will's stuffed lion - hysterical with her husky little voice!
signs more, food, milk, please, thank you - and blows kisses when we say I love you to her
favorite foods include crackers of all kinds, yogurt, chicken, pizza, Goldfish crackers (thanks Go-Go & Grampy), fruits - banana, strawberries, cantaloupe, grapes, kiwi, she'll try lots of things - she was eating my cucumbers like crazy a couple weekends ago.
She is starting to have a temper and throw mini-fits. She's definitely into arching the back; this is not my favorite stage. It's frustrating for everyone.
Here are some pictures of Elle in her typical spots...
Can you see her behind the table?

They were playing peacefully, I looked in to check on them and find Elle sitting on top of the car ramp.

Yes, that is Botchie's bed she's sitting in.

Climbing out from underneath her high chair...notice the bow in her mouth.

One year stats

Eleanor had her 12 month checkup yesterday. 3 shots, 2 ear infections, 2 new antibiotics and a nasal spray later, here are her stats...surely this girl will get healthy soon!

Weight: 21 lbs, 5.45 oz (53%)
Length: 28.75 in. (36%)
6 teeth
pulling up to standing, lots of crawling
mostly using sippy cups, drinking whole milk and water and getting more adventurous with "real" food
saying dada, mama, and various other things at times (this = dis; that = dat; dog = doe!, done = du") and lots of other unintelligible babble
signing "more" and "all done" and her very own made up sign for "pick me up, please!"

Doing great, if only we can kick these ear infections!
